How Your Competition Is Beating You With E-Commerce

For the vast majority of distributors, e-commerce is still in its infancy. Our recent research reveals that more than 40 percent of distributors have no revenue from e-commerce and 25 percent have less than 5 percent as shown below. Half of the distributors without e-commerce-enabled websites are implementing them now and in the next year. Still, nearly 10 percent have no plans to ever enable e-commerce. This article examines these results and issues distributors need to address to grow revenue from e-commerce.
